Sanibel Music Festival deeply regrets that, for the first time in 34 years, we have had to suspend the remaining concerts of the 2020 season. Fortunately, two concerts, Opera Theater of Connecticut singing the songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber and the Emerson String Quartet, have been rescheduled for next season. Tickets for these concerts will be honored in 2021.
Please notify us by email of your wishes for unused tickets for March 21, 24 and 28. If you do not have access to email, call us at 239-344-7025.We offer the following options:
Donate the value of your unused tickets to Sanibel Music Festival. As a volunteer-based non-profit organization, Sanibel Music Festival relies on the generosity and support of its loyal supporters. In this critical time, for many people and cultural organizations, we hope you will choose to donate your tickets. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Email us at [email protected] to donate; we will send you a donation acknowledgment letter for your records. Please notify us by April 30,th.
Transfer your tickets to any concert or a mix of concerts next season. Email us at [email protected] to transfer your tickets to the 2021 season. Concerts are planned for Tuesdays and Saturdays in March 2021 per the schedule below. Please notify us by April 30, 2020.

We thank the Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ for allowing us to use their wonderful venue. We are most grateful to our volunteers, generous donors and sponsors, ticket buyers, host families, and partners. Without all of you, Sanibel’s oldest classical music festival would not exist.

Sanibel Music Festival is a volunteer organization presenting a concert series of chamber music, piano recital and vocal ensemble of the highest caliber every year in March in a venue promising excellent acoustics and an intimate listening experience. In response to travel restrictions and public health concerns, the March 21st, 24th and 28th concerts are postponed. An announcement will be made shortly regarding unused tickets.
The mission of the Festival is to present classical music of the highest standard and to promote the careers of emerging artists through performance opportunities at affordable prices.
SANIBEL MUSIC FESTIVAL FACTS
The Sanibel Music Festival was founded in the 1980’s by Marilyn Lauriente, musician and impresario.
The Festival has presented such wonderful artists as: The Emerson String Quartet, Olga Kern, Opera Theater of Connecticut, Wu Han, David Finckel, The Julliard String Quartet, Orion Weiss, Joyce Yang, Jon Nakamatsu, Ruth Laredo, the American String Quartet, the Pacifica Quartet, and the Prazak Quartet.
The Festival presents seven concerts each “Save March for Music” season, with piano, chamber music, recital and vocal ensemble.
