Dear Friends of Sanibel Music Festival,

Sanibel Music Festival looks forward to celebrating our 36th season in March 2023. Despite the recent devastation pounded on the Festival’s long-time island venue, Sanibel Congregational Church, by Hurricane Ian, we plan to offer an exciting array of music of the highest caliber.

We are grateful that Peace Lutheran Church at 15840 McGregor Blvd in Ft Myers, less than five miles from the Sanibel causeway, has welcomed us to present our selected season in 2023. Peace Lutheran offers the intimate space, excellent acoustics, and easy accessibility that we value.

World-class virtuosos will bookend the season. The nine-time Grammy-winning Emerson String Quartet launches the Festival on March 4 as part of their 2023 retirement tour. And the highly acclaimed and entertaining New York Brass Arts Trio will close the season on March 28.

Throughout March, other renowned artists will perform including the Calidore String Quartet on March 11; and the Lysander Piano Trio on March 18. Back by popular demand, the Opera Theater of Connecticut will perform Lerner and Lowe hits from Brigadoon, Camelot, My Fair Lady, and others with both matinee and evening performances on March 21. All evening performances are at 7:30 pm. The matinee is at 2:00 pm.

Tickets, tax-deductible donation information, and details on the concert series are available here on our website.

Your involvement and support during this transitional period are greatly appreciated as we plan to continue our mission and eventually move back to Sanibel.

Sincerely,

Jana Stone, President
