Sanibel Music Festival - Calendar Header

Dear Friends of Sanibel Music Festival,

Because of circumstances beyond our control, our 35th Anniversary season has been extended into next year. Due to health issues, The Emerson String Quartet has to postpone their March 26, 2022, concert to March 4, 2023.

Ticket holders have been contacted and offered several options, including transfer to any concert in the upcoming 2023 season. Tickets will be transferred automatically to the Emerson String Quartet concert on March 4, unless we are contacted on our hotline at 239-344-7025 or at [email protected] .

The 2023 season promises to be diverse and memorable. Following the Emerson String Quartet concert, the lauded Calidore String Quartet will perform on March 11, followed by the Boston Chamber Music Society on March 14.

The Festival lineup for 2023 also includes the Lysander Piano Trio; the New York Brass Trio; the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Piano Duo plus Violin and Cello; the 2022 Van Cliburn Piano Competition Gold Medalist; and Singing Lerner and Lowe by the Opera Theater of Connecticut.

Tickets for the above concerts may be purchased by calling our hotline at 239-344-7025 or on our website starting May 15 at www.SanibelMusicFestval.org.

Don’t miss the Emerging Artist Series this year on March 29 and April 5 featuring the talented musicians of the Bower School of Music at Florida Gulf Coast University. Register for seating on the website. The Emerging Artist Series concerts this Spring are sponsored by Gene and Lee Seidler and supported by a free-will offering. Watch the website for updates and news about the upcoming 2023 Emerging Artist Series.

Thank you for staying in touch with Sanibel Music Festival. Without your support and participation, Sanibel’s oldest classical music festival would not exist.

Sincerely,

Jana Stone, President
